“Our guides, Hardus and Vale, are honestly the best. And I don’t mean that lightly, they literally are the absolute best! They’ve spent their entire lives working in nature reserves, so they’re basically walking encyclopedias. The amount of knowledge they shared with us was mind-blowing, and their passion is so contagious! Driving skill is super crucial on a trip like this, and Hardus is an extremely careful driver both inside and outside the parks, which made us feel completely safe the entire time.
The accommodations they picked out totally blew past our expectations. Every single hotel was incredible, unique, and the food was delicious everywhere we went.
Oh, and a huge shoutout to their truck! it’s like a Transformer! You can travel with it fully closed or completely opened up. Having the option to close it up is so important because it can get freezing cold on certain drives and times of day! But when the weather is nice, opening it all the way up is such a dream. On top of the safari, they were also our guides in Cape Town, and the itinerary they put together was amazing! We went to a fine dining restaurant for a 3-hour tasting menu experience that was out of this world, and honestly, every restaurant they picked was top-notch. Every activity they organized for us in Cape Town was fantastic!
I truly can't imagine this trip without Vale and Hardus. They are hands down the most committed, knowledgeable, trustworthy, responsible, punctual, and passionate people. We’re already dying to go back to explore another part of Africa, but only if we do it with Earth Child Safaris. 100,000% recommended!!!”
